Start with the full job

A chatter who only answers messages has a different job from one who also writes scripts, tags fans, makes reports, and trains new staff. Night shifts and hard-to-fill hours may also need different pay.

Base pay and commission work together

If the chatter gets steady hourly pay, the sales share may be smaller. If most pay comes from sales, the share may be larger. The plan must still follow the work laws that apply to your business and worker.

Say what counts as a sale

Write the rule before work starts. Use net sales after refunds and chargebacks so you do not pay commission on money you did not keep.

Do not reward bad chats

A sales-only plan can make some people push too hard. Watch blocks, complaints, refunds, and fan mood. A good chatter protects trust. They know when to sell and when to simply listen.

Review the plan

Try the plan for a short time. Then check if it is fair to you and the chatter. Change it in writing if the job, hours, or page size changes.

Simple answer: Use a clear pay plan that rewards real net sales, good fan care, and honest work.
